Book Quote of the Week:

Oops, All Feelings

Oops, All Feelings

“Creating music is therapy for my soul, and each song is a chapter of my life.” – Nathan Feuerstein (NF – Rap Artist)

My Interpretation: We all must find ways of self-expression, whether it be through music, journalism, fitness, social media (cringe – but still not judging), reading, etc. We, just have to find it. We have to tell our stories. We have to share. If we keep everything constantly locked up, buried downwards, we will lash out – we will spiral, we will… implode? Eminem, NF, T-Swizzle, Sam Barber, Zachary Lane Forkin’ Bryan, all huge influences on me personally – they share their life stories through their music. Just like this is me sharing mine through this blog.

Because sometimes healing looks like mascara streaks, rage playlists, & baking bread while sobbing over a text you never sent.
This is not just a playlist – it is a survival kit to avoid going numb.

Split into three emotional zones:

  • Feral Girl on the Edge (for screaming in the car or after daycare pickup)
  • Sad but Hot (for crying but still kinda serving)
  • Soft Chaos While Baking (for sourdough therapy and slow days)

There is glitter. There is grief. There is T-Swizzle (obviously).

  • Let us also note that you must not have been through enough if T-Swizzle lyrics do not resonate with you. I stand by this thoroughly. To my grave.
  • T- Swizzle is the Emily Dickinson of this century.

And yes – it slaps like my mama did.

Current Playlist:

Whisper to the ghosts. Yell into the void. Just don’t be an asshole.
